What this is

Short lessons, often a voice over a blackboard. Built for sighted kids and adults. Some of the voice is useful with the screen off. Much of it is not.

Why this door

People have heard of it. They do not always know you can listen to the talk track. They also do not know when to quit.

Steps in

1. Get a coach to open khanacademy.org and skip the visual tour.
2. Pick a subject you already started in life — not a random badge path.
3. If the lesson is only a drawing with no useful talk, skip it. That is allowed.

If the first three lessons are pictures without words, leave. Try Yale.
